If you were to spend most of your life doing one thing in one place and then move to another place to do the same thing, would that be considered a "new beginning"? In "Sensei Night", Janu (or whatever you want to change it) gets the answer to that question, going from happy-go-lucky janitor to sensei, well, overnight.
He has questions but no one gives him clear answers, so what else can he do but explore this new way of life he has been given with his new students.
